Well fins, mask and a snorkel are the essentials. If you are really serious about the sport, then a pair of pushers, hats and a glove are also essential. But there is no need to go out and buy all of this straight away. The club has kit that you can use, as you get used to the sport you will most likely want to have your own equipment.
