A few weeks in….

Hey there girls and boys,

Hopefully this will get into Purple Wednesday, look out for it!!

Anyone for Octopush? With great success at fresher’s Fare this year we enlisted a staggering amount of new recruits. Our first training session was a great success with lots of hard work from our Captain Tom Cane and President Gemma Yendall.

In a hectic but fun fresher’s pub crawl we got our new recruits to earn their stripes. Our new Social sec Katie has done a great job of organising socials. Including bowling and a Halloween Pub crawl to name just a few.

 The team get a chance to let off some competitive steam in a few weeks at a Paintballing expedition, organised by Matt our Vice President.

 
With our main competition in February we have started to get into training. You will see a flash of runners across Southsea beach. With military co-ordination by our team mate Andy. We are certainly put through our paces every Wednesday.

We are setting up practice matches with local teams around Portsmouth. So look out for our next update next time by me Hannah, the Media and Publications Officer.

This FRIDAY THE 30TH we will be meeting at 7.30pm at the SPICE ISLAND PUB!!! We will be working our way round the pubs in old Portsmouth getting plastered and scaring the locals!!!

Where we end up is being determined as we speak…im seeing what amazing deals we can get….but who doesnt like a bit of a mystery?!?!

PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE BEST COSTUME!!!!!So dress to impress!!!!!

This time there will be a thumb and a pose master allocated…so be alert, or down your drink! what do these guys do are you asking?

THUMB MASTER: where ever the masters thumb is yours should be…last person to put their thumb down has to down their drink!!!

POSE MASTER: When this guy strikes a pose, we all have to  follow…last person to strike the pose…yep you guessed it…DOWNS THEIR DRINK!!
