UPOC at British Octopush Nationals 2012

Octopushers!

You all now about Nationals (weekend 18th Februaruy 2012) for ages, now we get started with the admin and full-on training!

With your (full=student) membership both entry fee and travelling are already covererd. In order to book accomodation cheaply, we need to get this sorted as soon as possible. To make everything easier, we have set up an online cash office where you can pay in your £15. Deadline will be the end of term, 16th December – two weeks from now.

Here some dates for your diary:

# weekend 4th Feburary 2012: Plymouth Freshers tournament
# weekend 18th February 2012: British Octopush Student Nationals in Warwick!
(there is a chance for a Barbarian team fo non-students who wish to play; own expenses though)

Don’t forget:
# Wednesday 26th October : Glove Making Social 4pm, the Union
# Friday 28th October : Octopush does Haloween!!, 8pm, Spice Inn Island, Old Portsmouth

Pompey @ Nautilus 2011

Some will play the British Octopush Association (BOA) Nautilus tournament this year on Sunday 6th November from as early as 8.30am, yay!

For all of you who do, here all necessary infos about what you will need to do.

1. ASAP join the BOA and sort your membership. £14 for students. Use this link. Make sure you print off and send off the paper and a check to the BOA ASAP too.

2. Let us know, that you have paid (octopush@upsu.net or facebook group).

3. We’ll send you all the information you need and pick you up for some awesome games in Sheffield!

The picture show all the fixtures we will play in the 4th division with 7 other teams.

New Club Hoodies

Since people keep on asking about hoodies, here some colour ideas: apparently, 2 colours are high in your demand. The logo can be found in the photo section of your facebook group (an Octopush holding a pusher and the wording “Pompey Octopush”). It is similar to the one here.

Price will be max. £20. Add yourselves to the facebook list (a question in fact) if you want one.

The more, the cheaper.
